(We only remark on a fault the first time it occurs.)

  1. All displayed math formulas should be indented.
  2. The standard way of numbering displayed maths formulas is to put the number inside parentheses.
  3. The fraction should be a small upright fraction \displaystyle \tfrac{3}{2}.
  4. The text shouldn't be in bold face. Save bold for when you really want to emphasize something.
  5. Insert a full stop to end the sentence.
  6. Drop the colon.
