The logarithm lg46 satisfies the relation

10lg46=46

and taking the natural logarithm of both sides, we obtain

ln10lg46=ln46.

If we use the logarithm law, lgab=blga, on the left-hand side, the equality becomes

lg46ln10=ln46.

This shows that

lg46=ln10ln46=2.302585...3.828641...=1.6627578...

and the answer is 1.663.
