The logarithm lg 46 satisfies the relation

and taking the natural logarithm of both sides, we obtain

ln10lg 46 =ln46

If we use the logarithm law, lgab=blga, on the left-hand side, the equality becomes

lg46ln10=ln46

This shows that

and the answer is 1663.
